SJ Rent a Car installs dash cameras in all rental vehicles for safer driving
SJ Rent a Car offer a one‑stop service to assist Koreans visiting the U.S. short‑term or residing temporarily, enhancing customer convenience.
The one‑stop service means that from airport arrival taxi pick‑up, car rental, new/used car purchase, vehicle maintenance, to vehicle disposition upon departure—all are handled by Auto Gallery Group.
Especially for Koreans who may have communication difficulties, all rental vehicles are equipped with dash cameras. For those with insufficient credit to purchase new or used cars, J&J Finance, the group’s own finance company, provides loans—allowing credit-building as well.
Additionally, NAPA (the largest auto‑service provider in the U.S.) technicians assist with vehicle maintenance, and at the time of return, vehicles are purchased back at better prices than CarMax regardless of condition.
Auto Gallery’s manager Ki‑hyup Yoon stated, “The inflow of Koreans to Georgia and Alabama is increasing. We support all vehicle‑related services so they can adjust well to life in the U.S. and focus on their work,” and added that a dedicated Korean‑service desk is operated at each location. Readiness has been completed to open a local branch in Savannah to meet current demand, with vehicle delivery service already in operation.
Meanwhile, customers must obtain an international driver’s license from Korea before renting in the U.S., understand U.S. traffic laws that differ from Korea, and confirm vehicle insurance.
SJ Rent‑a‑Car’s CFO, Sunghyun Yoon, emphasized, “When renting a vehicle, don’t focus solely on the lowest cost—it’s important to check whether the company insurance provides full coverage, whether the vehicles are well‑maintained, and whether 24‑hour Korean support is available.”
He also noted that since rental coverage for medical expenses is relatively weak, short‑term visitors should purchase travel medical insurance in Korea before traveling.
